Rosario Dawson is ready to burn down her hometown in the first trailer for USA Network's Briarpatch.

The upcoming anthology series will begin with 10 episodes centered on Dawson's character, Allegra Dill, an investigator who returns to her hometown on the Texas border -- a place the locals have dubbed "Saint Disgrace" -- to find out what happened to her police officer sister after she was murdered in an explosion. Once there, Allegra learns that a lot has changed in her absence. Zoo animals are now running wild, and the wealthy are running even wilder.

Briarpatch is based on Ross Thomas' novel of the same name and was adapted by screenwriter Andy Greenwald, who will executive produce alongside Sam Esmail. The inaugural season also stars Jay R. Ferguson, Brian Geraghty, Edi Gathegi, Kim Dickens, Alan Cumming, and Ed Asner.

Briarpatch will premiere on USA Network in 2020. The first two episodes will be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.
