What does this mean for Josh?

Nico Tortorella has the range! The Younger star has been tapped to star in The Walking Dead's upcoming spin-off, Deadline first reported and TV Guide has confirmed.

Tortorella will play Felix, "an honorable man of his word who isn't afraid to fight for others' safety and acceptance," in the third Walking Dead series, which is currently in production for a spring 2020 premiere. It will not interfere with their role as Josh, Liza's (Sutton Foster) ex-boyfriend, on TV Land's Younger, which was recently renewed for a seventh season. You would be hard pressed to find two shows less alike than the gruesome survival horror drama The Walking Dead and the sweet-natured New York City dramedy Younger, but Tortorella will bridge the gap.

Everything We Know About The Walking Dead's Untitled Spin-Off

Tortorella joins previously announced cast members Alexa Mansour, Aliyah Royale, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston, and Annet Mahendru in the third series in the Walking Dead franchise, which will focus on young people coming of age during the zombie apocalypse. The as-yet-untitled series is created by Matthew Negrete and Scott Gimple.

The Walking Dead Season 10 will premiere Sunday, Oct. 6 at 9/8c on AMC.
