The animated show revolves around Gon Freecss, a young boy who lives on Whale Island. He finds out that his father is still alive and is a top "Hunter," who risks his life to seek hidden treasures. Gon also decides to become a professional Hunter like him.

Kaname, the beautiful and popular high school girl, and Sousuke, the teenage military commando, are back for more antics in Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu. This anime follows the characters from the original Full Metal Panic! series through their day-to-day lives and focuses only on the comedy of Sousuke's fish-out-of-water syndrome as he goes undercover, trying to blend in with the high school crowd, despite his hardcore military training. Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu is in no way a sequel to Full Metal Panic!, but rather an alternate view of the characters. The series consists of unrelated episodes, rather than serials and contains no mecha and almost no action. Laughable romantic misunderstandings and slapstick humor, however, can be found in abundance.

Running for 96 episodes, an incredibly long lifespan for anime, which are usually pitched and produced in units of 26 or 52 episodes, Maison Ikkoku is now considered to be an archetype in anime. The story is told mainly from the perspective of Yusaku Godai, a "ronin" who failed his college entrance exams and is studying hard to retake them. Yusaku moves into a boarding house managed by the young recent widow Kyoko Otonashi and falls victim to love at first sight upon meeting her. What follows is a soap opera saga full of laughter, mostly at Yusaku, who is constantly studying amidst a barrage of obtrusive housemates and can never quite muster the courage to confess his feelings to Kyoko. "Maison Ikkoku" literally means "House of Movement."

When Narumi, an office lady who hides the fact that she is a yaoi fangirl, changes jobs, she is reunited with Hirotaka, her childhood friend who is attractive and skilled but is a hardcore gaming otaku. They decide to start dating for now, but being otaku, both of them are awkward so a serious romantic relationship is rather difficult for them...

Tomoki Sakai is a first-year high school student. He has talent for diving and has been partaking in the sport for six years. He is also member of the dive club MDC, but the club is on the verge of shutting down due to budget deficits. Kayoko Asaki becomes the new coach of MDC and informs the team that they must produce an athlete on the national dive team for the next Olympics. Otherwise, their team will shut down forever. Tomoki Sakai has rival divers: Yōichi Fujitani and Shibuki Okitsu.

After accidentally breaking a statue of the guardian god of the Asakusa district, middle school students Kazuki, Toi and Enta are transformed into kappas -creatures from japanese folklore- by Keppi, self-proclaimed prince of the Kappa Kingdom. If they want to regain their human form, they must collect the five Dishes of Hope for him, which fulfill the wishes of whoever possesses them. To do so, they will fight against the kappa-zombies and extract their "shirikodama", the mythical organ containing humans' deepest desires. Two policemen, Reo and Mabu, are the ones behind this evil scheme, turning humans into zombies as agents of the Otter Empire, enemy of the Kappa Kingdom since ancient times. In the guise of "Kappazon, Inc.", they control society by manipulating the desires of the masses for their own goals. To succeed in their mission, the boys must be connected through the "Sarazanmai", revealing their most intimate secrets in the process...
