A number of great racing moments and iconic cars have roared out of motorsport ' s 125-year-old history. The first official motor race ran from Paris to Bordeaux, France, and back again, totaling 1,178 km. Since then, road-racing cars, including the Audi Quattro, have gained fame for their speed, style, and triumphs. The Quattro won a number of rallies, including the Pike ' s Peak ' s hill climb in 1987. Here are nine iconic road and rally cars from the sport.
