My work includes pieces on online harassment of women journalists, double standards faced by women in politics, feminism under Trump, the impact of #MeToo, the rise of incels, conservative women and abortion, and the plight of American mothers. In 2019, I was one of eight U.S. recipients of the prestigious Rosalynn Carter Fellowships for Mental Health Journalism. In 2020, I was awarded the American Association of Suicidology’s Public Service Journalism Award.
