Tami Abdollah is a national correspondent for USA TODAY. Over the course of her career, Abdollah has worked as a staff reporter for The Associated Press, the Los Angeles Times and KPCC - a Los Angeles affiliate for NPR. Abdollah has also reported for The Wall Street Journal and helped launch the startup tech newsroom, dot.LA, backed by Zillow co-founder Spencer Rascoff. Abdollah spent nearly a year in Iraq working for an NGO. A native Angeleno, she’s traveled the world on $5 a day, has taught trad climbing safety classes and is an avid mountaineer.
