Taylor Avery is an alumna of the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno, where she earned degrees in journalism and political science in spring 2021. Prior to joining the USA TODAY team, Taylor interned with several publications, including the Nevada Independent, Los Angeles Times and the Reno Gazette Journal.
