Deal watch: Royal Caribbean plans three-day promotion

USATODAY
Royal Caribbean's 2,100-passenger Serenade of the Seas.

Industry giant Royal Caribbean plans to kick off another three-day promotion on Monday.

The line's latest "Wow Sale," as it calls the periodic events, offers customers who book a 2013 or 2014 cruise an on-board credit of up to $200 per cabin.

Customers will receive $50 in on-board credit when booking a three- to five-night itinerary; $100 for six- to nine-night itineraries; and $200 for itineraries of 10 nights or longer. The line also is reducing the amount of money passengers must put down to hold a cabin by 50%.

The offer is available only in the U.S. and Canada and applies to new individual bookings. It is not applicable to groups. Bookings must be made and deposits paid by 11:59 p.m. local time on Oct. 17.

It'll be the last Wow Sale of the year, the line says.
