Deal watch: Cunard kicks off one-week cruise sale

Add Cunard to the list of cruise lines rolling out a late October sale.

The three-ship cruise company today launched a week-long promotion that brings up to $300 per cabin in on-board credits as well as free balcony upgrades on select sailings.

The line says 30 voyages are included in the sale. Examples:

-- A 12-day "Iberian Highlights" sailing to Portugal and Spain out of Southampton, England on the Queen Elizabeth that begins on April 19. Fares for balcony cabins start at $2,599 per person.

-- A 14-day "St. Petersburg & Baltic Explorer" sailing out of Southampton on the Queen Elizabeth that kicks off May 1. Fares for balcony cabins start at $3,599.

-- A seven-day trans-Atlantic crossing from Southampton to New York on the Queen Mary 2 departing on April 26. Fares for balcony cabins start at $1,345.

-- A seven-day "Fjords & Waterfalls" sailing to Norway out of Southampton on the Queen Elizabeth that begins on May 19. Fares for balcony cabins start at $1,799.

-- A 13-day "Mediterranean Delights" sailing on the Queen Victoria that begins on July 7. Fares for balcony cabins start at $3,499

The promotion runs through Oct. 29.
