'American Horror Story' returns for Season 2 on Oct. 17

Just in time for Halloween!

FX has put up another teaser for American Horror Story's second season as it tweeted again today:

"Heard crazy things about #AmericanHorrorStory? In the Asylum, you'll see them too. Get Committed, Wed, Oct 17 at 10P only on FX."

It's the "sexiest, scariest thrill ride" ever, says exec producer Dante Di Loreto in a preview. Star Sarah Paulson promises it will be a "different kind of horror." And James Cromwell says, "If there's another show like this, I've never seen it."

The preview is one of 24 different teasers the show has produced, part of an intense social media campaign, FX marketing honcho Sally Daws tells LostRemote.com.
