'Princess Bride' cast reunites for 25th anniversary

As we wished: Princess Buttercup and Westley are together again!

Robin Wright, 46, and Cary Elwes, 49, were among the cast members who showed up Tuesday night to celebrate the release of the 25th anniversary of The Princess Bride at Alice Tully Hall in New York. (The film is being released on Blu-ray today.)

We talked to Wright three years ago and asked about being part of such a beloved film. "I love those movies, and they're going to go down in history. They're iconic. And I love that I'm a part of film history," she said at the time.

Also at the event: Mandy Patinkin (Inigo Montoya), Chris Sarandon (Prince Humperdinck), Wallace Shawn (Vizzini), Carol Kane (Valerie), Billy Crystal (Miracle Max) and director Rob Reiner.

Sadly, missing the fun were Andre the Giant and Peter Falk, both of whom have died since the movie's release.
