Rapper Nelly has become the latest celeb to find trouble at a West Texas border checkpoint.
Hudspeth County sheriff's officials said an initial search Wednesday night of Nelly's tour bus turned up small amounts of marijuana and heroin and a loaded gun, reports AP.
TMZ reports that police in Sierra Blanca, Texas, say a further search turned up 36 baggies of heroin, more than 10 pounds of weed, and a loaded .45 caliber pistol.
Officials say one of the occupants of the bus was arrested after admitting the drugs and gun belonged to him, reports AP.
In a statement, Nelly blamed his staff member. The rapper said, "Neither I nor anyone else on the tour bus was aware of his decision to bring these."
Previous drug-related arrests of celebrities at the checkpoint near Sierra Blanca included Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg and Fiona Apple.
