Melissa Rycroft was taken to the hospital on Sunday to be checked out after falling during Dancing With the Stars rehearsals.

People.com reports the celeb suffered a head and neck injury while working on her group dance, doing camera blocking for the show tonight.

"Melissa was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she is currently being examined," Rycroft's rep told People. Rycroft's husband, Tye Strickland, and her dance partner, Tony Dovolani, accompanied her.

Dovolani tweeted on Sunday: "Really concerned about @MelissaRycroft..... we don't know if we are dancing tomorrow !!!!! Please keep us in your prayers #trouper"

Team Emmit Smith tweeted: "I really hope Melissa Rycroft is ok. She was taken to the hospital with a head/neck injury. Saying a prayer for her tonight."

E! News reports Rycroft was released by Sunday evening.

Rycroft, 29, is dancing the tango, her "guilty pleasure" dance, to Britney Spears on Tuesday's one-hour performance show. She and Dovolani are scheduled to perform a team dance on tonight's one-hour performance show (ABC, 8 p.m.). There is no elimination (no results show) this week.
