Flavor Flav plans to fight battery, assault charges

Flavor Flav, 53, is going to fight the domestic battery and assault charges he's facing as a result of an argument at his Las Vegas home last week.

The rapper has been accused by fiancee Elizabeth Trujillo, 39, of pushing her to the floor and wielding two knives as he chased and threatened her 17-year-old son during an argument Wednesday. She told police she confronted the star for cheating on her and things got physical.

AP reports that Flav's attorney, Tony Abbatangelo, appeared in court today on behalf of the star and the judge scheduled a hearing for Nov. 20.

Flav, whose name is William Jonathan Drayton Jr., could face up to six years in prison if convicted of felony assault and six months in jail on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge, reports AP.
