Bindi Irwin, husband Chandler Powell welcome first child, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell
Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell are parents!
The television personality, 22, and her husband, 24, announced the birth of their first child, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, on Instagram Friday.
"March 25, 2021. Celebrating the two loves of my life. Happy first wedding anniversary to my sweetheart husband and day of birth to our beautiful daughter. ❤️" Irwin wrote alongside a photo of her and Powell holding their baby girl, who "is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s."
Irwin explained the significance of her daughter's full name.
"Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior," she said. "Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad. There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed."

The couple first revealed they were expecting a baby in August 2020. In a post to Instagram, Irwin said their "Baby Wildlife Warrior" was due in 2021.
"Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting! It’s an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you," she wrote. "Though I’m still in my first trimester, we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter."
She continued, "We couldn’t wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives. Your support means the world to us. Please let me know your best advice and send good vibes & prayers to our little sweetheart. Love & light."
Irwin and Powell got married at the Australia Zoo in March, hours before a curfew from the Australian government set to slow the spread of coronavirus would have restricted the wedding to five people.
She is the daughter of late TV presenter and zookeeper Steve Irwin, who died in 2006 at age 44 from a stingray attack while filming.
Bindi met Powell, a Florida native, in 2013 when he was visiting Australia for a wakeboarding competition, he revealed in 2015 when Irwin was on "Dancing with the Stars." Irwin gave him a tour of the Australia Zoo.
The couple got engaged on July 24, 2019 – where else? – at the Australia Zoo.
