Tom Cruise watches Wimbledon with 'Mission: Impossible 7' stars Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff

Tom Cruise stepped out at Wimbledon over the weekend looking like Hollywood royalty.

The “Mission: Impossible 7” star showed up Saturday and Sunday for the tennis finals, flashing a smile and wearing sharp blue suits both times with a tie and aviator sunglasses. 

He created a stir on Saturday by arriving for the women’s singles final in a three-piece suit, flanked by his co-stars Hayley Atwell and Pom Klementieff, and sat in the stands between the two. Photographers captured him laughing chummily with Atwell, the British actress famous for her role as Peggy Carter in “Captain America: The First Avenger.”

Atwell wore a mid-length cream print dress with red pumps and a cream trench coat, while Klementieff donned black cropped pants and a bright mustard-yellow jacket, accessorized with a heart-shaped belt buckle and matching sunglasses.

Cruise kept it all in the “M:I” family, returning for the men’s singles final on Sunday accompanied by co-star Esai Morales, who wore a maroon suit, shirt and tie.

The stars arrived both days without masks, though Wimbledon required masks only while moving around within the venue grounds, not while sitting in the stands.

Production on “Mission: Impossible 7” shut down in the U.K. for a week and a half at the beginning of June when COVID-19 was detected on the set during routine testing, Paramount told USA TODAY in a statement.

In February 2020, production was shut down in Venice, Italy, following a coronavirus outbreak in the country before the first day of shooting. The set also shut down for a week on October after a dozen people tested positive for COVID-19, Variety reported.

Cruise, the film’s producer, made international headlines in 2020 when leaked audio from the set captured an expletive-filled rant in which he yelled at crew members for standing too close to each another, in violation of safety protocols.
