Hilaria, Alec Baldwin are expecting their seventh child: 'A very bright spot in our lives'
Hilaria and Alec Baldwinâs family tree just keeps on growing, with the couple announcing on social media that they are expecting their seventh child.
Hilaria shared the baby news on Instagram Tuesday, posting a sweet home video that shows the couple telling their six children of their newest sibling. Hilaria shares Carmen, 8, Rafael, 6, Leonardo, 5, Romeo, 3, and 1-year-olds Eduardo and LuciÌa with her actor husband. Alec, who reposted the video on Instagram, also has a 26-year-old daughter, Ireland, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
âAfter many ups and downs over the past few years, we have an exciting up and a huge surprise: another Baldwinito is coming this fall,â the 38-year-old author captioned the post. âWe were pretty sure our family was complete, and weâre beyond happy with this surprise. Iâm sharing with you the moment we told the kidsâas you can see, they are super excited!â
She added: âOur new baby is a very bright spot in our lives. A blessing and a gift during such uncertain times.â

This isnât the first time Hilaria has taken to social media to reveal the additions to her growing family. The yoga instructor introduced youngest LuciÌa on Instagram in March 2021, but she didn't go into detail about how the then-newborn joined their family.
âWe are living each day, bonding, and grateful for all of the very special angels who helped bring LuciÌa into the world,â she captioned the post. âMariÌa LuciÌa Victoria and Eduardo Pau Lucas: our babies who bring light into our livesâalmost like twins, we love you so much.â
Although LuciÌa was born via surrogacy, according to reports from People and Today, Hilaria didnât reveal in her latest Instagram post how their seventh child is joining the Baldwin clan.

The Baldwinsâ baby news comes at a time of strife for the family, after multiple lawsuits were filed against Alec in the wake of cinematographer Halyna Hutchinsâ death, who was shot and killed last October when a prop gun wielded by Baldwin went off. Brian Panish, a lawyer for the victim's husband of 16 years and the couple's 9-year-old son Andros, has accused Baldwin and the film's producers of âmajor breaches of industry protocolsâ that âled to the senseless and tragic death of Halyna Hutchins.â
Hilaria has been vocal in her support of her husband during the legal dilemma, vowing to "take care ofâ Baldwin through âthis unthinkable nightmare,â she wrote in an Instagram post in December 2021.
âMy Alec, I am here to heal any of your pain that I can,â she concluded the post. âI am not going anywhere. Onward to being Alec and Hilaria, messy, emotions strong, but lots and lots of loveâuntil the very end.â
