Missouri's Dorial Green-Beckham scores his first touchdown

Erick Smith, USA TODAY Sports
Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham scored his first career touchdown with this catch against Central Florida.

Dorial Green-Beckham has formally introduced himself to the world of college football.

In the fifth game of his career, the Missouri wide receiver ranked as the top incoming recruit in the country finally scored his first touchdown.

Green-Beckham had only managed 48 yards on six receptions through the first four games. But he nearly doubled his career output with an 80-yard scoring catch from James Franklin in the first half against Central Florida.

Green-Beckham made the reception near midfield. He then broke free of the remaining Golden Knights defender and cruised the final 50 yards into the end zone.

Missouri fans are hoping this breakout play will be the first of many scoring connections between Franklin and Green-Beckham as the Tigers offense has struggled in its first two SEC games.
