Gangnam Style makes its NFL debut with Domata Peko's dance

Chris Chase, USA TODAY Sports

If you had Domata Peko in your "what NFL player will be the first to celebrate a sack/touchdown with the "Gangnam Style" dance," then you probably need to gamble less. But you'd be right, as the Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle celebrated a game-opening sack Sunday with the dance craze that has taken the country and Ellen DeGeneres by storm.

An esteemed colleague, Will Brinson of CBS Sports, says Gangnam Style has jumped the shark. I beg to differ, and I have incontrovertible proof after hours seconds of extensive research. I called my dad at work to ask him whether he had heard of it. "Gangnam with an 'm' or an 'n' at the end?" he said. "It doesn't matter; I don't know it anyway." A young co-worker sitting nearby said, "Is it like gingham?"

There are still plenty of people out there who don't know about Psy and his lassoing, South Korean dance. Shark, you're not jumped yet.
