Nationals' Harper revels in celebration with ...

The Nationals's 19-year-old outfielder Bryce Harper (center) celebrates after Washington clinched the National League East title at Nationals Park.

Don't go there.

Don't ask 19-year-old rookie Bryce Harper if he celebrated Washington's first-ever National League East title with champagne.

He may just reply: "That's a clown question, bro."

Harper was seen in the Nationals clubhouse spraying the bubbly but did not partake like most of his teammates during the celebration.

Harper said he enjoyed the moment with apple cider as the rest of his teammates drank Korbel and Miller Lite.

"I was drinking (cider)," Harper told the Washington Post. "Me and (Adam LaRoche's 9-year-old son) Drake were pouring that on top of each other."

Back in June, a Toronto-based reporter asked Harper if he'd be celebrating his monstrous home run at the Rogers Centre with a Canadian beer after the game. In Canada, the legal drinking age is 18 years old.

The trademark phrase was born.
