Northwestern punt return moves Wildcats ahead (VIDEO)

Northwestern running back Venric Mark, center, celebrates with teammates after rushing for a touchdown during the second quarter against Penn State.

Northwestern is nine minutes away from its first 6-0 start in 50 years. If the Wildcats do hold on to beat Penn State, it'll be due in large part to the play of running back Venric Mark, whose long, winding, 75-yard punt return gave the Wildcats a 28-17 lead:

Mark and quarterback-running back Kain Colter have supplied Northwestern's otherwise pedestrian offense with a large dash of flash: Mark now has two punt returns for scores on the year, becoming the first Wildcat since 1949 to do so, while Colter has accounted for nine touchdowns, including one earlier this afternoon.

Penn State just scored and added a two-point conversion to draw within 28-25. It's going down to the wire.
