Browns QB Weeden throws two passes on one play (VIDEO)

Chris Strauss, USA TODAY Sports
Brandon Weeden played minor league baseball for several years before becoming the Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback.

Brandon Weeden hasn't exactly had the easiest first five weeks of his pro career. There was the pregame incident before his NFL debut when he got sacked by the American flag. Add to that the fact that Weeden's Cleveland Browns were winless coming into today's matchup with the New York Giants and it was clear that the 28-year-old rookie needed to catch a break.

With his team in the red zone trailing 34-20 with about nine minutes left to play, Weeden figured he wouldn't let a Justin Tuck deflection keep him from trying to make some comeback magic happen. After catching the rebound, Weeden scrambled outside the pocket and found an open Jordan Cameron in the end zone. Unfortunately for the first round pick, he's only allowed one forward pass per play.

Weeden would throw an end zone interception to Chase Blackburn on the following play, as the Browns dropped to 0-5 following a 41-27 final score.
