Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay said earlier this week that he wanted to deliver a game ball to head coach Chuck Pagano's hospital room after his team beat the Green Bay Packers.

Despite being more than a touchdown underdog, the Colts made their owner look prophetic with a 30-27 comeback victory. While addressing the team, both Irsay and interim coach Bruce Arians got choked up while discussing how much it meant to be able to fulfill that promise.

"You know what kind of man we have down the street in the hospital fighting for his life and winning the fight," Irsay told the group.

"This ball is going is going right to the hospital!"

According to Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star, Pagano was in great spirits when he received the ball.

"We walked in, he (Pagano) got up, we all embraced and shed some tears and Chuck said, `You know, I don't feel so sick right now,'" Irsay told the paper.
