Eagles safety gets away with stealing shoe (VIDEO)

Eagles safety Kurt Coleman pulls a dirty trick after making a tackle on the Steelers' Antonio Brown.

PITTSBURGH -- Kurt Coleman absolutely hates it when people don't tie their shoes tight enough.Or maybe the Philadelphia Eagles safety just isn't a fan of Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown.

In any case, Coleman made a critical second-quarter tackle of Brown at Philadelphia's nine-yard line, stripped the receiver of his shoe in the process, then chucked it 20 yards away to Pittsburgh's sideline. Might the outburst have warranted an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty if the referee had seen it?

We won't know. Pittsburgh rushed to the line to stop the clock with a spike on first down, and eventually failed to score a touchdown, settling for a field goal to take a 10-0 halftime lead. The Steelers won the game 16-14 on a last second Shaun Suisham field goal.

Asked why he threw the shoe, Coleman responded dryly, "I didn't want it. I wasn't going to hand it to him. He was going to have to go get it."
