Orioles' Davis makes disappearing catch

By Scott Boeck, USA TODAY Sports

Baltimore Orioles right fielder Chris Davis did a disappearing act in the right field corner of Camden Yards tracking down a fly ball.

Tied 2-2 in the top of the sixth inning, Davis ran down a fly ball hit by New York Yankees' Curtis Granderson. He made the catch behind the stands in foul territory for the third out of the inning.

The corner outfield has an odd angle to allow for the maintenance garage in the right field corner.

The ball actually goes over the stands and back into foul territory, where Davis made the catch in the dark shadows.

It's the second great play of the game by Davis. Earlier in the game, he threw out Mark Teixeira at second base trying to stretch out a double.
