Ohio State band performs the greatest halftime show

This one is for us, nerds.

While the Ohio State football team headed into the locker room on its way to a 63-38 trouncing of Nebraska, the Buckeyes marching band took to the field for nine minutes of marching band glory. Nine minutes of video game theme songs from all of the classics.

Can you think of anything better than classic characters from your childhood, paired surprisingly well with a few trombones and some college football? Can't do it.

The display started innocuously enough with Space Invaders, transitioning into Pokemon. There were Mario, Pac-Man, Halo, and Tetris references. Then, a full-field homage to Zelda brought the house down (at the 6:00 mark).

It's impossible to enjoy this too many times.
