Driver accuses Lions' Suh of road rage

A motorist is accusing Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh of losing his temper yet again, this time in a road rage incident early Thursday morning in Dearborn, Mich.

According to a report from FOX 2 News, Steve Vines was on his way to work at 6:20 a.m. when a driver in a Black Range Rover sped around him and sideswiped his car. Vines says that when the cars pulled over after the accident, the other driver began screaming at him.

"I look over at him and he started yelling at me, 'Trying to cut me off. Get out of the way.' And I just said, 'Really?'" Vines told the station. "He just started yelling about getting the hell out of his way and cutting him off."

"What it comes down to is it was an arrogance thing in my eyes," Vines told the Detroit Free Press. "It was just pure arrogance. 'Get out of my way or I'm going to make you move.' And then, 'I'm too good to sit here and wait. I'm going to leave, you guys can come find me.'"

Vines, who claims he is a Lions fan, somehow didn't recognize one of his team's biggest stars, even after police told him to follow the driver into the Lions practice facility after he allegedly left the scene.

"That's when he said, 'I advise you to leave, now.' And I said, 'I'm not going anywhere, I talked to the police,'" Vines continued. "(He said), 'I don't care what they said. You need to get out of here.' And then he said, 'I'm advising you to leave, now.'"

Vines called 911 after the incident, and said Suh yelled accusingly at him from his car. Despite the altercation, Vines said his allegiance to the team is unchanged.

"It doesn't change my perception of the Lions at all. I pray that we beat Philly in Philly (on Sunday)," Vines said. "But my view of Suh, I know he's going through some tough times with court and everything right now, but this doesn't help. I don't care if he said, 'Look, I'm gonna be late for practice and they're going to fine me $5,000. I didn't mean to hit you. I was just trying to get around you. Let me take care of your car.' No one would have ever heard of it."

Vines continued: "I don't want any money. Like I said on the news clip, I don't want anything above, I don't want anything below. I'd like an apology and my car fixed because it's my kid's car. I want my kid to have a safe car."
