A-Rod (the colt) scratched at Belmont Park

Whether you're at Yankee Stadium or Belmont Park you got less of A-Rod than advertised.

Alex Rodriguez is getting yanked in Yankee playoff games and A-Rod the colt is getting pulled on the race track.

Mike Cole of NESN reports that the 3-year-old A-Rod was scratched from a $54,000 allowance race on Thursday when the race went from turf to dirt.

The colt, sired by Grand Slam, is 2-for-17 lifetime and finished sixth in his only start this year at Aqueduct.
