Smush Parker fires back at Kobe Bryant's criticism

USATODAY
Smush Parker, shown playing for the Lakers in 2005, fired back at criticism that Kobe Bryant leveled at him. He called the Lakers superstar a bad teammate after Kobe called him a bad player.

Nobody puts Smush into a corner.

Hours after Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant belittled former teammate Smush Parker, Parker fired back.

Bryant said Parker cost him the 2006 MVP because he had no talent.

Parker tells TMZ that Bryant was "overrated as a teammate" and that the future Hall of Famer "told me out of his own mouth that I couldn't talk to him. That my accolades under my belt weren't deserving enough for me to talk to him."

Parker averaged 11.5 points, 3.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 2006 and said "people lie, numbers don't."
