Notre Dame is doing well on the football field this season, but it turns out they have a few tricks up their sleeves off the field as well.

The team has popularized what they call "Trick Shot Monday," a game in which they attempt to bank ping pong balls off random surfaces into water cups.

With ESPN College Gameday in South Bend, Ind., this weekend, reporter Samantha Steele decided to join the Fighting Irish and try her hand at some of her own trick shots. Steele attempted to bank in shots off everything from a camera lens to a Notre Dame logo on the wall, as players crowded around.

Her best shot came via an assist from two players, the first of whom headed the ping pong ball to his teammate, who then headed it into the cup as the room exploded in cheers.

Steele had one last surprise for the players when she faked throwing a cup full of water into the trash before dumping it on an unsuspecting suspect.
