Tampa Bay's 38-10 drubbing of Kansas City Sunday afternoon was for the most part, as Joe Buck might say, "a disgusting act."
The frequent displays of ineptitude between the 2-3 Buccaneers and 1-5 Chiefs did have one, well, two silver linings in this pair of bizarre interception returns for touchdowns.
With 9:36 remaining in the third quarter, Bucs cornerback Ronde Barber, scoops a ball that bounces off the leg of Chiefs receiver Dexter McCluster, hits a fellow defender but somehow never touches the ground and takes it back for a 78-yard touchdown.
In the opening minute of the fourth quarter, Buccaneers punter Michael Koenen does his best Garo Yepremian impression after the Chiefs' Shaun Draughn blocked a punt at the Tampa 11-yard-line. As the video details, Koenen's ability to have a kick blocked and throw an interception on the same play is truly remarkable.
