Novak Djokovic takes frustration out on his racket

From staff reports
Novak Djokovic of Serbia smashes his racket in frustration during his win against Andy Murray of Britain on Sunday in Shanghai.

Novak Djokovic delivered a smashing victory against Andy Murray in the final of the Shanghai Masters on Sunday.

In more ways than one.

Djokovic rallied to win, fighting off five match points in the process, 5-7, 7-6 (13-11), 6-3.

"I won the match," Djokovic said. "But, you know, as spectators could see, we were very close. It was a very even match throughout the whole three sets. He was so close to the victory that I cannot say I was the better player."

All in all a good day for the Serb.

On one point, however, Djokovic clearly broke one of those cardinal rules ... a good craftsman never blames his tools.

After an errant volley late in a thrilling point, Djokovic took it out on his racket. Anyone for racket abuse?
