Robert Griffin III will start for the Redskins against the Vikings on Sunday.

As expected, Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin will return from a concussion suffered in Week 5 to start against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, a league source confirmed Griffin will return to action for the contest, which begins at 4:25 p.m. ET. Griffin was knocked out in the third quarter of last week's 24-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Griffin participated in his only full practice of the week on Friday.
