Rickie Fowler gets blowback for Mitt Romney support

A PGA Tour golfer has been revealed to be a Republican. Somebody alert the media!

Rickie Fowler declared his support for Mitt Romney and got some negative reaction. (Thanks to Golf.com's Press Tent for the Twitter tip)

That didn't seem to faze the young star and for the most part took the high road on Twitter. His 412,000 followers seem to have stayed steady.

Fowler has a good geographic resume to understand the electorate

based on who - I support...wasn't saying I support Romney just because it seems smart...it was a jab at the unfollowers :)
