Who would make the NFL All-Pro team right now?

Chris Strauss, USA TODAY Sports
Adrian Peterson has been one of the best running backs in the NFL so far this season.

Who will be on the AP's NFL All-Pro Team at the end of the year? With ten weeks left in the regular season, there's still plenty of time for those final accolades to be delivered. But that's no reason that we can't deliver a weekly list of the players who have been the best at their positions so far this season.

Here's my list as we head into Week 8.

First team:

Offense

QB: Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
The 2011 NFL MVP appears to be back in last season's form.

RB : Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings
What knee injury? All Day's return is a key reason Minnesota is currently 5-2.

Ray Rice, Baltimore Ravens
Even after the team's shellacking at Houston, Baltimore doesn't need to question if their halfback is elite.

FB: Henry Hynoski, New York Giants
The 2011 undrafted free agent has become quite the bulldozer for the G-Men.

WR: Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis Colts
Who needs Peyton Manning? Wayne is averaging a career-high 111 yards per game.

Brandon Marshall, Chicago Bears
Jay Cutler's favorite receiver (and public advocate) has caught a touchdown in his past three games.

TE: Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots
Gronk regained his spot as the top tight end in the game with his clutch two TD performance against the Jets.

T: Duane Brown, Houston Texans
Brown has kept Matt Schaub upright and paved the way for Arian Foster on the AFC's top team.

Ryan Clady, Denver Broncos
Peyton Manning hasn't been sacked by any of Clady's assignments yet this season.

G: Marshal Yanda, Baltimore Ravens
The right guard has evolved into the best at his position.

Mike Iupati, San Francisco 49ers
The third-year player had his best game of a stellar season against Seattle.

C: Mike Pouncey, Miami Dolphins
The second-year starter has made rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill's transition much easier.

Defense
DE : J.J. Watt, Houston Texans

Despite being held to his first game without a sack, Watt is still having an MVP like season.

Cameron Wake, Miami Dolphins
Wake continues his career year with a trip to the Meadowlands in Week 8.

DT: Geno Atkins, Cincinnati Bengals
The third-year year player from Georgia continued to be a disruptive force with a sack of Ben Roethlisberger in Week 7.

OLB: Clay Matthews, Green Bay Packers
Matthews now has 10 sacks in seven games.

Von Miller, Denver Broncos
Miller looks to make Drew Brees his latest target in Week 8's Sunday night game.

ILB: NaVorro Bowman, San Francisco 49ers
Bowman continues to be the 49ers best middle linebacker, even with Patrick Willis on the team.

Patrick Willis, San Francisco 49ers
Not that this guy is all that shabby either.

CB: Richard Sherman, Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks' defense wasn't the problem in the team's 13-7 loss to San Francisco.

Antoine Winfield, Minnesota Vikings
In addition to outstanding coverage, Winfield recorded a sack against the Cardinals in Week 7.

S: Jairus Byrd, Buffalo Bills
At least one player in Buffalo's 31st ranked defense is doing something productive.

Ryan Clark, Pittsburgh Steelers
Clark continues to play well in Troy Polamalu's absence.

K: Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens
The rookie continues to shine for the AFC North leaders.

P: Jon Ryan, Seattle Seahawks
The Canadian has been solid all season.

KR: Percy Harvin, Minnesota Vikings
Harvin barely missed making the team as a receiver.

Second Team:
Offense
QB: Robert Griffin III, Washington Redskins

RB : Frank Gore, San Francisco 49ers, Ahmad Bradshaw, New York Giants

FB: James Casey, Houston Texans

WR: A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals, Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions

TE: Tony Gonzalez, Atlanta Falcons

T : Joe Staley, San Francisco 49ers, Sebastian Vollmer, New England Patriots

G: Alex Boone, San Francisco 49ers, Jahri Evans, New Orleans Saints

C: John Sullivan, Minnesota Vikings

Defense

DE: John Abraham, Atlanta Falcons, Justin Smith, San Francisco 49ers

DT: Gerald McCoy, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

OLB: Lance Briggs, Chicago Bears, Justin Houston, Kansas City Chiefs

ILB: Daryl Washington, Arizona Cardinals, Karlos Dansby, Miami Dolphins

CB : Casey Hayward, Green Bay Packers, Charles Tillman, Chicago Bears

S : Dashon Goldson, San Francisco 49ers, Eric Weddle, San Diego Chargers

K: Blair Walsh, Minnesota Vikings

P: Donnie Jones, Houston Texans

KR: Josh Cribbs, Cleveland Browns
