Yao Ming "played" golf with other famous people this weekend

Yao Ming's golf swing is the stuff of nightmares. Of course, if we tried to lay up on the green with a 6-foot wedge after undergoing surgery would we do any better? Probably not.

Yao manages to make fleeting contact with the ball on his first swing. After getting help to replace his divot and a few practice cuts, his second attempt goes another 20 or 25 yards. Charles Barkley may have finally found a playing partner.

Yao was playing at the World Celebrity Pro-Am in Haikou, China along with actors and celebrities like Ryan Reynolds, Michael Phelps, and Minka Kelly. Chinese actor Wang Zhiwen won the celebrity side of the event while Matt Kuchar took top honors in the professional portion.
