Michael Vick supports Andy Reid's quarterback decision, whatever that may be (VIDEO)

Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg and head coach Andy Reid talks with quarterback Michael Vick (7) during the fourth quarter against the Atlanta Falcons at Lincoln Financial Field.

Michael Vick knows a change could be coming at quarterback. His Philadelphia Eagles are 3-4 after a loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday and there are whispers that Andy Reid could be pondering a switch to backup Nick Foles.

The struggling incumbent is aware of this. If it happens, he says he'll support it.

"Obviously [Reid is] thinking about making a change at the quarterback position," Vick said at his post-game press conference following the 30-17 defeat.

"If that's the decision Coach wants to make, then I'll support it," he added.

There are two ways to read Vick's comments:

1. Michael Vick has given up.

2. Michael Vick doesn't want to say anything to gin up headlines, so he's staying reserved while knowing that decisions about starting quarterbacks aren't made in press conferences.

The second one is the most likely. Philly plays New Orleans next week on Monday Night Football. Is Reid going to start a new quarterback on national television in a loud dome against a porous defense that Reid himself could throw for 200 yards and two touchdowns against? And is he going to do it after a loss to an undefeated team? Not likely. Philly is 3-4, not dead.

Vick has been a model citizen since his release from prison and has avoided headlines by laying low and keeping soundbites bland. These comments will raise some eyebrows but not as much as Vick calling out his teammates or questioning Reid's future decisions. His answer sounds stunning, but it's the least controversial thing he could have said.

Reid faced a similar barrage of questions in his press conference.

"Do you think at some point it's time for them to hear another voice," one reporter asked.

The Eagles coach paused for a moment and responded, "do you want to talk to them?"
