DETROIT -- Following the conclusion of the 2012 World Series, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum acquired seven artifact donations to commemorate the San Francisco Giants World Championship.

These artifacts will travel to Cooperstown and join the bat used by Pablo Sandoval to hit the first 2 of his 3 home runs in an historic Game One. The artifacts will be featured in the World Series exhibit, "Autumn Glory," with a display for the new champions set to open in early November.

The items received by the Hall of Fame following the victory:

  1. The jersey worn by Ryan Vogelsong in his Game 3 victory.
  2. The warm-up jacket worn throughout the Series by Giants manager Bruce Bochy.
  3. The glove used by Gregor Blanco throughout the 2012 season and post-season.
  4. The bat - named "Tim" - used by Hunter Pence for hits throughout the Series, including his RBI go-ahead base hit in Game 2.
  5. The spikes worn by Marco Scutaro throughout the postseason.
  6. The cap worn by Brandon Crawford in the postseason.
  7. The spikes worn by Matt Cain in the Series.

The artifacts will arrive in Cooperstown on Monday morning.
