Jeremy Roenick seeks legal advice on Twitter before beating up a guy

Mike Foss, USA TODAY Sports
Jeremy Roenick wants to fight a guy and not get sued after.

Jeremy Roenick sought legal help on Twitter to help "oversee [his] dispute." Perhaps a slightly odd request, but it was the sanest part of the entire conversation proceeded.

When a lawyer actually offered to help the former NHL star, Roenick went into detail regarding his legal predicament. The conversation went in a fairly linear direction.

Roenick wants to beat a guy up. The lawyer throws the silly "law" wrench into the equation. Roenick doesn't care much for the law, but doesn't want to be sued. Lawyer offers contract to prevent Roenick from being sued, but makes no promises in regard to law enforcement pressing chargers.

Roenick is in.

Will this fight happen on Tuesday in the lobby of a Sheraton? We can dare to dream. Thanks to Barstool for finding these Twttiter shenanigans first.
