Maryland unveils new 'state pride' uniforms (PHOTOS)

Maryland unveiled a brand new get-up for its game against Georgia Tech on Saturday, yet the new gear does not include any references to the following Old Line State icons:

-Old Bay
-Blue crabs
-Brooks Robinson
-Natty Boh

This is an oversight, in my opinion.

What the new gear does include, however, is a healthy dose of the Maryland state flag, several Under Armour insignias and what looks like the fanciest pair of wrestling shoes to hit the FBS in years.

Then the gloves, which, when put together, resemble the colors of the state flag (which can also be seen on the shoulder pads):

Last but not least, the cleats:

Well, those are something. Maryland may be trotting out a linebacker at quarterback, but at least the Terrapins will look good doing so.
