Michael Vick says media have created problems for struggling Eagles

Michael Vick speaks to reporters about the team's turmoil.

Michael Vick, the Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback with a 3-4 record, nearly 1:1 touchdown-to-interception ratio and the most fumbles in the NFL, says the media is to blame for some of the team's woes.

Unless "the media" is a new nickname being tried out by either Vick or Andy Reid, it's an interesting sentiment for a team that has lost three straight games, none of which have taken place inside the newsroom of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

"You guys create a lot of turmoil for us sometimes," Vick said to reporters recently. "It's cool man. We have to battle through it. The quieter you all can be, the easier for us that we can concentrate and focus as individuals, as a unit as a team and organization."

Poor Juan Castillo. The team's defensive coordinator was the bye-week scapegoat for Philly's rough start when it was Howard Eskin's fault all along.
