Jerryd Bayless' four-plus years in the NBA have been rocky, to say the least.

The No. 11 overall pick of the 2008 NBA Draft is now on his fourth team with the Memphis Grizzlies. His remarkable athleticism has been overshadowed by his inefficiency and defensive struggles.

But every now and then, Bayless reminds others of why he was such a highly regarded player coming out of Arizona. One play in Sunday night's 104-86 win over the Miami Heat encapsulated the highs and lows of his career.

Midway through the fourth quarter, Bayless dribbled into a double-team and heaved a pass to a waiting Ray Allen. But Bayless chased Allen down in time to swat him away at the rim.
