Earlier on Friday, our Adi Joseph detailed how J.R. Smith became an integral part of the New York Knicks' early-season triumphs. Smith said he was taking a more business-like approach now and not letting his immaturity get to him.

So naturally Smith chose Friday night's game against the Memphis Grizzlies to get back to his old tricks.

As he attempted to shake Jerryd Bayless while coming off a screen, Smith decided to swing his elbow into Bayless' upper chest. Bayless responded in kind, but cooler heads prevailed as the two were separated by a referee and ... Rasheed Wallace?
