Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie's lack of open-field tackling ability saved him $25,000 on Sunday, when his attempt at a launching, textbook helmet-to-helmet hit on Robert Griffin III resulted in an embarrassing whiff.

The Philadelphia Eagles cornerback plants his feet, lowers his head and launches himself headfirst at the rookie star's helmet. It was fresh out of the "how to paralyze someone on the football field" primer.
