'Hey Grude': Arkansas fans court Jon Gruden with Beatles rendition (VIDEO)

Chris Strauss, USA TODAY Sports
Former Oakland Raiders coach Jon Gruden watches the team's game versus New Orleans Sunday. Gruden was in town to announce Monday's game between San Francisco and Chicago.

Tennessee isn't the only school whose fans are obsessively courting "Monday Night Football" announcer Jon Gruden as its next coach. A trio of Arkansas fans channeled the Fab Four - if Paul, John, George and Ringo were prone to wearing XXL coaching polos and performed in a studio with a giant Fathead helmet decal - to recruit the Super Bowl winning coach to Fayetteville in the most bro-ish a capella style ever.

It's an impressive attempt by the trio, who might be better suited to form their own campus version of The Treblemakers than enter the coaching recruitment business. If anything is going to lure Gruden to Fayetteville over Knoxville or an NFL destination like Philadelphia, it'll likely be the university's rumored willingness to make interim coach John L. Smith's replacement the highest-paid coach in the SEC.

And if Gruden ends up spurning the Razorbacks? This will be even funnier a year from now. Just ask all of the Cleveland fans who made this pre-Decision version of "We Are the World" to keep LeBron James in Ohio.
