With many of the NFC's best teams hitting rough spots this past weekend, the AFC's top dogs made their mark on the latest edition of USA TODAY Sports' weekly NFL Power Rankings.

The Houston Texans regained the top spot after a 24-10 win against Tennessee while the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos claimed two more of the top four places after clinching their respective divisions.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Diego Chargers each dropped five spots after blowing second-half leads. The Cleveland Browns, who reeled off a second consecutive victory, were the biggest movers, jumping four spots to 24th.

The NFL Power Rankings are voted on by editors and writers from USA TODAY Sports' NFL desk.
