Simon Samano, USA TODAY Sports
A fan jumped from the third deck of O.co Coliseum on Thursday night, according to police.

A fan apparently jumped from the third deck at O.co Coliseum prior to Thursday night's game between the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders.

Alameda County Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. J.D. Nelson told the Oakland Tribune that the fan, whose identity has not been released, was taken to a local hospital.

Oakland police told the newspaper that the man was listed in serious condition late Thursday as a result of the incident, which occurred shortly before the 5:30 p.m. PST kickoff.

The Raiders acknowledged what happened in a statement, via NBC Bay Area.

It read, "While we do not yet have any information beyond that which has been publicly reported, our thoughts and prayers are with this gentleman and his family and friends."
