Stephen Jackson tweets how he really feels about Serge Ibaka

San Antonio Spurs forward Stephen Jackson (3) warms up before the game against the Denver Nuggets at the AT&T Center.

Stephen Jackson is not afraid to speak his mind.*

*In fact, when we last heard from him, he was explaining how he "definitely enjoyed" hitting a fan in the stands at the Malice in the Palace. So ... yeah.

On Friday night, Jackson has a pretty simple message for Serge Ibaka, which he tweeted so we could all see it.

"Somebody tell serg Abaka. He aint bout dis life. Next time he run up on me im goin in his mouth. That's a promise. He doin 2 much."

SB Nation's Tom Ziller noticed this tweet, then brought up an interesting point: Jackson and the Spurs have not played the Thunder since Nov. 1. So where did this come from? Ziller tweeted "Starting to think that since OKC and SA haven't played in a month, Jack was reacting to Ibaka vs. MWP."

Update: Jackson further clarified his comments later Saturday, on Twitter: "FYI my ibaka comment had nothing to do with Ron artest. Last 2 times we played he ran up on me and i told him in the game next time u run up on me im going in ya mouth. Im speaking for myself. For u all who wanna jump to conclusions."

Yup, just watching TV and sharing observations. Observations that apparently were too real for some people. Jackson has since deleted the tweet, and this morning posted the following message on Instagram:

"Sorry I can't live my life the way u want me r not say the things I do. But remember its my life my thoughts. If u dont like them so what. I not afraid to speak my mind. Money doesn't make a person. Dont expect a person to be what u want them to b bekuz of their success

Real talk. And you know what? I'm not sure why, but this feels like the right time to bring back this GIF:
