Lee Smith disappears into Bills crowd after touchdown

Like an old-time sailor in the Bermuda Triangle, Buffalo Bills tight end Lee Smith disappeared into a plunging abyss following his third-quarter touchdown against the St. Louis Rams.

Smith wanted to celebrate with fans at Ralph Wilson Stadium after scoring the go-ahead touchdown, so he opted for the routine leap into the stands. He was to be met with waiting arms and reassuring helmet slaps.

Instead, the fans parted like they were playing the Red Sea in a stage version of The Ten Commandments.

We don't blame them for moving. Here's why:

1. Just because it's cold, doesn't mean it's Lambeau Field.

2. If you saw a 6-foot-six, 265-pound man charging at you, you'd casually saunter out of the way too.

3. These people are Bills fans. They're not used to seeing their favorite players score touchdowns.
