Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno (27) is tackled by Baltimore Ravens cornerbacks Corey Graham (24) and Cary Williams (29) on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

BALTIMORE --There are typically limited options when trying to avoid defenders as a running back. Instead of running through or around the defense on Sunday, Knowshon Moreno chose another option: jump over.

The Denver Broncos running back showed off his leaping ability in Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens, providing a highlight reel moment worth replaying.

While trying to fight for a few extra yards in the first half, Moreno easily hurdled the Ravens safety Ed Reed, who was nearly standing straight up, and landed perfectly before being brought down by Ravens defenders.

The Ravens lost their third game in a row with a 34-17 loss to the Broncos. Ravens QB Joe Flacco threw an interception with 15 seconds left that led to a 98-yard Denver touchdown and a 17-0 halftime deficit.

"I was not expecting him to jump honestly," Reed said after the game. "I just kind of watched him jump over me actually. I saw him gathering himself. I thought, 'no way he's going to jump.' It was two yards, you can have it. Great play by him. It happens."

This isn't the first time Moreno showed off his track and field skills, as the former Georgia running back leaped over a pack of Central Michigan defenders in college.

This also isn't the first time Ed Reed has been hurdled, as the Eagles' Brent Celek had a similar highlight reel earlier this season.
